Dr. Marianna Mamusa received her Master’s Degree in Physical Chemistry in 2010 at University of Cagliari, Italy. Her Thesis reported the phase diagrams of three-component colloidal systems based on a classic anionic surfactant and imidazolium-based ionic liquids. In 2011, she moved to Paris, France for her PhD at Université Pierre et Marie Curie, during which she focused on the dispersion of magnetic nanoparticles in ionic liquids and their characterization through scattering techniques. She defended her PhD thesis in February 2014, and moved to Florence in April 2014 to work at CSGI as a post-doc researcher in the framework of the DNA-TRAP project.
